Wedding Rehearsal Cookies

These were made for the same recipient as the Bridal Shower cookies. There were two cookies to a bag, 32 bags total. That's 64 cookies!! The little organza bags that I had ordered for them were baby blue (to match the bridesmaid dresses) with light pink crinkle paper in each of them to provide a little 'nest' for the cookies (the wedding flowers were pink). All in all, I think they turned out fantastic... despite the fact that it took me 11 1/2 straight hours to bake and decorate them all!

Mother's Day

I made these for my own mother because my father ordered a dozen =) At first I was at a loss of ideas regarding what shapes to make and how to decorate them. I wanted to stray away from the typical "flowers" theme that usually surrounds Mother's Day (especially considering I had just done flowers for my Easter batch). So these are the ones I came up with!

With the exception of the first image, these are at strange angles to show the texture of the sugar-rimmed hearts and to give you a better look at the swirly details of the "Mom"s. The cookie photography has greatly improved since the Bridal Shower batch!

Birthday Cookies

I apologize for having taken so long posting these. These were actually completed about two and a half weeks ago - things have been hectic around here! These are the birthday cookies that I did for a girl turning 17 who wanted her theme to be black, light pink, and hot pink.

These are little party hats... below is a closeup.

You can see that I added edible pearls on each of the polka dots.

Her name is Rachel so I included a few "R"s that kept with the color scheme:

Only two birthday cakes because they were huge!

Last but not least, I made two little gift-shaped cookies:
